Vivian Etter Attorney, Entrepreneur Assistance Clinic Vivian Etter mentors student interns at LaunchBox`s Entrepreneur Assistance Clinic in Penn State. In addition to providing educational advice to walk-in clients on business units, organizations, and other legal considerations, Vivian also helps represent clients with respect to legal considerations for small businesses.
Angela Lombardo Manager, Experiential Learning Clinics and Programs As Manager of Clinics and Experiential Learning, Angela Lombardo leads the clinical administration of eleven clinical programs and more than 50 students per semester. Your first appointment at the clinic will be a confidential information session. This first session involves identifying legal issues and other related concerns on which you can seek advice. The staff, assisted by Professor Scott, will not provide any information that can be relied upon for legal advice. Instead, staff will provide general information about the law to inform you in the area of concern. The staff will also provide you with all the appropriate resources so that you can solve your problem. If your case requires more attention than this initial educational session can provide, a formal client-advocate relationship can be established with the clinic of your choice. Once an engagement letter is signed, the clinic actually provides legal assistance. There are no prerequisites for this clinic, although it would be helpful if candidates took or took the contractor`s representation at the same time. Gopal Balachandran Director, Day School Program, Co-Director, Criminal and Post-Conviction Appeal Services Clinic, Assistant Professor of Clinical Law Gopal Balachandran leads the Day School Program and Criminal Justice Internship for the Indigent. As Director of the Day School Program, he oversees student employment in legal services and government organizations, including judicial internships. He has also assisted students in writing and filing briefs in the Superior Court and Supreme Court of Pennsylvania as part of the Criminal Justice for Indigent Practicum.
