Don`t believe in 5* reviews and what`s written on their website about quality customer service. The opposite is true! They don`t answer, they don`t answer calls, and they don`t answer emails for weeks. For weeks, I couldn`t know who my case manager`s supervisor was to file a formal complaint. Even my formal complaint is ignored. I am irritated and frustrated.
I am a first buyer without a chain and the process has already taken 5 months and is still not finished. They do not instruct the customer on the process and do not specify deadlines. Terribly terrible. They never answer, leave the work unfinished. They are lazy and incompetent. A day before the completion of my property, after I had paid my full bill, the lawyer then told me that we owed £500 after questioning the bill several times. The case manager I have is completely insensitive, does not answer the phone, does not answer emails. I am now 4 months in the process of a purchase, and I have no idea what the delay is or how long it will take to resolve it. The portal is a waste of time because no one has ever replied to my messages on it. This is Walthamstow`s office. I`ve used Cavendish in the past and had to reuse them for stairwells because they didn`t register my property in the land registry (pretty ingenious sales tactics). Bad service, left in the dark and it seems annoying that he works when he is not asked to do so. Processes are currently stalled, but neither Cavendish nor the housing association seem to understand where with much blame. It was up to me to take charge of the lawsuits on both sides of the process. Quite painful and currently on the chances of paying my mortgage if I have already agreed on the next deal, very frustrating.
