Summer law internships are full-time, at least 40 hours per week, and last 10 to 14 weeks (usually mid-May to mid-August). School placements are usually also full-time internships, but we prefer a commitment of 20 hours per week or more during the school year (the spring semester usually lasts from early January to mid-May and the fall semester lasts from mid-August to December). Law students attending schools with extra-semester schedules are also encouraged to apply. Articling is available at our San Francisco office for all legal matters. We do not offer distance learning internships or internships in Washington DC. Internships are generally unpaid; Therefore, agreements should be made with the student`s law school for work/study scholarships.
